This is a little OVA featuring the characters from FMA in their cute chibi forms after they are done with the movie. Anyway it was really nice to see them back and it was pretty funny in my opinion. (it was so cuuuuuuute!!! >O<) lol I can so understand Winry. ^O^

To be honest,,, I didn't really enjoy this episode. (but I did enjoy the spirits battle near the end) Most of the time, it was badly directed and the way all the scenes were connected was just awkward to me.(basically it seemed like the people were coming and out from nowhere -_-;;;) Anyway we have some more new characters introduced and Zed stays dumb as usual. -_-;;; (As you can see, I'm having hard time liking him ;;;) Hopefully it will get better in the next episode.

Even though the quality of the animation has gone down from the first episode, I still enjoyed watching it all the way through. I realized that Yuuko says a lot of philosophical things, which sound very meaningful. Anyway this episode was quite powerful in terms of the message on people that make lies about themselves.

.hack//Roots Ep 1

Well, this turns out to be another nice series by Bee Train. I love this 'Madlax' feel of this anime. >__< The production value is high just like many other Bee Train's animes and the music is also great too. (I only watched little bit of .hack//Sign and .hack//Dusk btw... -_-;) The opening song by Fiction Junciton Yuuka(same as Madlax >O<) is awesome and the ending song by Ali Project(same as Rozen Maiden) is quite catchy as well. Both op and ed animations contain possible spoilers of future events, which makes me exciting. (Yes, I do enjoy some spoilers ^_^;;;) Anyway the basic theme seems to be the same as the previous ones, which is the RPG game called 'The World'. This episode was only like a prologue, which makes me to look forward to the later events and the story development. I'll keep watching it but there's no gurantee that I will blog it. (I'm gonna blog either this one or The Third)

We continue from where we left off last time. (which was the end of Utagawa Ryo) Anyway the group manage to rescue Uryuu along with Yoshino. However, Kariya Jin seems to be way more strong than Ichigo thought...
Both new op and ed songs are growing on me and the art is solid once again. However, I just think that Kariya Jin guy is kinda exaggerated in some ways in terms of the power level. Anyway no bleach for 2 weeks. (bah~) I guess I'll be catching up some new animes.

Impressions on spring new animes

Because of my busy schedule, I cannot blog many series. So I decided to make a thread on the new animes that I haven't blog their first episodes yet.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - I really like this one. It's funny and the animation by Kyoto animation is just so well done. It's gonna be a good comedy treat for me. >O< Haruhi sure is one wicked heroine, eh? Mikuru is so cute btw. ^O^

Ouran High School Host Club - What more could I expect? BONES makes good animes and just like many other bloggers, I was really impressed by this series.(It's just so cute, omg >O<) Gotta love the silliness of the characters. lol The art reminds me a lot of Fruit Basket, which I also liked. ^O^

Zegapain - I almost passed this one. (How dumb I was;;;) Anyway it's a good treat for a mecha anime lover like me and the mecha designs here aren't that bad after all. (It's just that the CG looks awkward sometimes) The character designs are growing on me and there are many interesting factors, which haven't revealed fully yet.

Ah My Goddess S2 - Belldandy is beautiful as ever. Keiichi is silly but sweet as ever. Skuld is cute as ever and Urd is the sexy dynamite as EVER!!! >O< I love the new opening btw. ^O^

Makai Senki Disgaea - The first episode wasn't too impressive but I'll keep watching it for now since it's cute and I'm kinda curious to check out Etna. (I never played the game though) I didn't really like both op and ed though. -_-;;;

The only new animes I still have left to watch are .hack//Roots, The Third, Kishin Houkou Demonbane and Tsubasa S2 (Which I'm gonna blog) yet btw.

Gintama Ep 2

Now this is more like it. ^O^ They followed the first chapter of the manga very well, which is good. Sunrise is doing a great job on this anime so far. I see, they have made a change on the shabu shabu thingy to keep the PG rating. ^_^;;; Also, Gintoki's voice is growing on me more and more. I think Sugita Tomokazu is doing an awesome job on voicing Gintoki. (Gosh, I didn't expect him to be this good) Anyway looking forward to watch the next episode as well~ ^O^

The second episode wasn't exciting as the first episode but it was still good. Animaiton is still solid and the action scenes were pretty good too. The only problem I have with this series is that IT'S A SO MAR WITHOUT BABBO!!! Seriously, when Jiko (I spelled him Zico last time but I'll follow Kyuuketsuki's translation for now) gave Zed the stones, I was like 'WTH? These are the magic stones that you put into arms in MAR'. Put that aside, another plus for this series is Roia, who is making this series extra delicious. >__< Anyway just how many times did Zed get beaten up until now? I feel sorry for our angsty hero...

I really liked the movie, therefore I was quite excited to watch this one. Overall, this first episode was pretty good and the mysterious atmosphere made this episode very intense. I really like the theme of this series, which is the shop that grants people 's wish. Even though I only read the very first chapter of the manga(just like Black Cat lol), everything seems very familiar probably because I've watched Tsubasa and its movie version. Production I.G. did a fantastic job on colours, which matches the series very well. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that both op and ed songs were really nice. (Dancing Mokona from the ed rocks!) I'm really looking forward to watch more!!!

I feel sorry for Wataniki every time he tries to get rid of those spirits. T_T

It's already time for brand new op and ed animations and I love both of them. The new opening is very stylish and the animation reminds me of the 1st opening very much. I like the ending song slightly better and I really liked the last part, where all the female characters are together. >__< These two episodes were quite intense and action-packed, which I enjoyed.

Ririn, Kurodo, and Noba are back to their original gigai forms, which is good. ^O^
Noba was so busy this episode as everyone was relying on his transport avility. (Poor Noba) -_-;

Uryuu is captured. T_T

Kariya Jin sure is one creepy guy... -_-;;;

Just some gibberish here...

I was planning on blogging all the first episodes of the new animes I watch but I think I will not be doing that since my schedule is gonna be quite busy and I really don't have much time for blogging. (Which is a shame 'cause I really wanted to blog all the first episodes... -_-;;;)

One more thing, I'm dropping Girls High(or High School Girls) 'cause it was way different from what I expected and I didn't find it funny at all. Instead, I'll be watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, which many bloggers have watched and commented on some good things.

Anyway, my entry for Bleach ep 74-75 will be up later this weekend. I was busy catching up some animes all week. -_^;;;

Digimon Savers Ep 1

I'm not very fond of Digimon since I'm kinda old to watch these kind of animes but I've decided to check this out because it kinda seemed different from previous ones and the seiyuu casting was quite good too. Overall, this first episode wasn't impressive but I'll keep watching it for now because I'm curious to check out Nakai Kazuya's character. (He sure is busy nowadays, eh?) Op and ed songs are okay but I really liked the insert song that was played in the middle of this episode.

The protagonist Masaru is a deliquent boy. I'm not really liking him now. -_-;;;

Masaru's partner, Agumon. He's so adorable, haha. ^O^

One of the main characters, Yoshino. I hate her voice and I don't like her character either.

The talking scarf digimon sure has a deep voice.

Is Masaru also a monster himself? Punching a digimon like that with a bare hand...;;;

They used some CG's for the transformation scene, which is kinda awkward.

School Rumble Ni Gakki Ep 1

School Rumble is back! The first episode was basically all original material but it was still fun to watch. I love both new op and ed and the quality of the animation has leveled up, which is also good. They are continuing from where they left in the next episode and I can't wait to see the survival episodes animated. ^O^ Anyway~

Gintama Ep 1

Here goes my most anticipated series of this season. However, I didn't enjoy this episode much because everything was anime original, which got me disappointed. However, it looks like they are starting from the very first chapter of the manga in the next week, which relieved me. I think making an original intro ep is okay. (Get Backers did it too) However, I think this didn't work well for this series because they suddenly introduced all those characters, which will definitely confuse the hell out of the people, who haven't read the manga. Also, I didn't find this ep funny. The op and ed songs were pretty good especially the op and the overall quality of the anime isn't bad for a shounen manga-based anime. I won't judge too much about this anime for now because we are not on the real track yet.

Mai-Otome Ep 25-26 (Final)

Okee, so Mai-Otome finishes as well just like Black Cat. (These two shows finished in the same day actually ^_^;) This series was just awesome. Even though the pacing was a bit awkward and fast towards the end, it still showed its greatness with the usual quality and the dynamic battle scenes. Also the lovely characters kept my interest till the end. I just wished that they showed more of Mai and the two new columns(Maya and Sara). At least the ending was better than Mai-HiME and I'm looking forward to watch its upcoming OVA as well. ^O^ Overall, I liked this series very much and it was my favourite series among the 2005 fall season along with Black Cat.

Black Cat Ep 23 (Final)

Okay, so finally Black Cat is coming to its final episode. As I expected, everything went so well and all the nanotao-combo lover losers get their @ss kicked and Train goes to live a new life alone.<=This was kinda unexpected though ;;; Of course Eve is safe and I loved her new hair style with a cute school uniform. I didn't take much screen shots because I wasn't watching the raw and I usually don't take screen shots with subtitles. Anyway I think this was a very enjoyable series to watch with good action-packed episodes and interesting characters. It became one of my favourite shows after episode 10 and since I only read the very first chapter of the manga, I didn't have any problem on its pacing.
I really liked the way the director decided to put all the scenes together and the soundtracks went wonderful with them. ^O^

Everyone is so ready to beat the crap out of Kanzaki. (That's the impression I got in this scene ^_^;)

Kiba Ep 1

Okay, my first new anime of this spring season. This was what I needed at the moment, shounen fantasy with decent character design. This first episode was interesting enough to hook me and I will continue watching this. This series is kinda similar to MAR in many ways. (The main character goes to another world, summoning guardian-like beings, etc) The opening is very catchy and since I like most of Nami Tamaki's songs, this one does not disappoint me at all. I'm not very fond of the ending theme and hopefully it will grow on me. The production value is very high but hopefully it will keep up with its consisten animation.
Anyway on to the screenies~ (I'm too lazy to summarize this episode btw -_-;;;)

What a hilarious OVA this is. ^O^ The main character Punie is really one scary magic girl. Her multi-personality is just so funny. (but scary) Even that mascot named Paya has two faces just like her. Anyway I enjoyed watching this a lot and looking forward to watch more.

Great stuff. I'm so excited about how the things will go in this original arc. However, it looks like there are way more powerful Bountous out there...

Okay,,, what else would I say? This was another great episode and it showed the awesome teamwork of the sweepers, the numbers, and the former members of the Apostle of Stars(some of them). Anyway Sven gets triggered by his idea of using firework(hanabi) to attract Eve so that the Eden will not reach the next city. (But I SO agree with Rins saying it is really Sven that Eve likes ^__^) Anyway it looks like the next episode is really the final episode. Let's see how things will get wrapped up.

My impression: OMG Gin-san, you look exceptionally fine in the anime so you dun need to worry about your natural perm hair. lol

Again, another intense episode. We get to learn more about the Eden Project from Tearju Lunatique, who is also the creator of Eve. (Eve is her clone) We also get to learn that the name of the (dumb)doctor is Kanzaki. Anyway I like Train's new costume and looking forward to see how things will go in this final arc.

It was just for a few moments in the beginning though... As always, Tsuda Genjirou-san's(Kaiba's VA) voice is just great. Too bad he is not in Ouran High School Host Club Anime. (They changed the casting from the Drama CD,,, TOT) Damn you, Saiou Takuma for standing upto Kaiba and waste his time.

Anyway for the today's duel, which was a continuation of the previus episode...

I really thought Shou and Kenzan were going to win.

But the winner was this cheeky bastard, who even defeated his own partner.

Anyway I'll blog this series whenever I really feel like it again.

P.S. Just how old is Kaiba now? This series should be some years after the end of the original Yugiou. He looks the same as before... (but still gakkoissu~ ^O^)

Bleach Ep 72

It was another enjoyable episode. I guess Uryuu does care about his father's hospital after all. (Since he was provoked when Renji was talking bad about the hospital ^_^;)
But I have to admit that the power of Bountou(I'll just follow Dattebayo's translation from now on) is kinda exaggerated. (Ichigo, who has defeated several captains and vice captains, is struggling so much;;;) Anyway aside from that, the art of this episode was
great and Ichigo looked exceptionally gakkoi. ^O^ I hope they'll keep this quality and the excitement of the story.

Ryo targets Uryuu, who is seemingly the most fragile one among Ichigo's group. However, Uryuu gets saved by Yoshino and hears about her story of Bounds and what Jin is planning. Anyway the story is getting more serious than I thought... So those Bounds (or Bountous? I'm getting confused because of the subtitles) are trying to get into Soul Society using the great power gained from sucking on living people's souls? Anyway the screenies~

Kyoraku: Hey, Mayuri. Can I borrow your data on Bounds?
Mayuri: Hell no.

Kyoraku: You go hell.

A FABULOUS EPISODE!!! I was like @_@ for the whole time while watching this. Anyway Train wins the battle but does not kill Creed. He leaves Creed to Echidna and everything seems peaceful again. But I guess that old man from Chronos is up to something dirty now along with the few remaining bad @sses of the Aposle of Stars.
Anyway for the very first time, I felt sorry for Creed... T_T Now I understand why he became such a psychotic man after seeing some parts of his past. But he has to be super thankful to the high and mighty Train, who let him live! (..and to Saya-sama too!) Miki Shinichirou-san's (Creed's VA) acting was just amazing in this episode.

King of Fighters -Another Day- Ep 4 (Final)

Finally the last episode of KOF anime... I will say it was an okay ova despite the length of each episode. The action scenes were pretty good but I'm just wishing that it was a bit longer. Uh well, I guess this is a fanservice film for KOF fans...

1. According to Matthew's anime blog, Karen from upcoming sequel of School Rumble will be voiced by a different seiyuu.
When I saw this news, I was like NOOOOO cause I loved Nanri Yuuka as Karerin. (I like Nao from Mai-Otome as well)

2. (Also from Matthew's blog) Kin'ya and Sakamoto Maaya will be back to do the op and ed of Tsubasa Chronicle 2nd Season. Yey~ ^O^

3. For the upcoming Gintama anime, Tommy Heavenly6 will be doing the opening and a band named Captain Staydum (the band that did the 7th ending of Naruto) will be doing the ending.

4. 5 more weeks of Naruto filler episodes left... Goodness, episode 174 was just so lame that I was like ahahaha how dumb.

5. I was reading vol 12 of MAR Heaven lately and I was so moved. T___T

Manga Impression - Gintama

Summary:
End of Edo period, aliens called "Amanto" began to invade the Earth, and the war between the Earth and Amanto broke out. During the war, many samurai lost their lives. However, the Earth was no match for the overwhelming weapons of Amand, and they surrendered to Amando. The government became a puppet of Amando, and Amandos had their own way in Edo city. On the other hand, the government banned the samurai from carrying swords. However, there was one man, who was carrying out his rule as a samurai, named Sakata Gintoki.

Comments:
I've already mentioned about the upcoming anime of this manga earlier in this thread but since I was bored, I'm just writing up this manga impression. The summary may sounds pretty serious but the series isn't. -_^ It's full of comedic moments with bunch of silly characters. The main character Gintoki is not your typical shounen manga protagonist because he doesn't become stronger gradually like Naruto or Ichigo. (He is already a skilled samurai from the beginning) Because of the simple art style, you can't really expect uber pretty bishies but I guess Okita comes to the closest to that line. (Although he isn't really my favourite;; this series has some parodies of shinsengumi characters btw) But each character does have their own uniqueness. (and silliness of course ^_^) If you like titles like Hale Nochi Guu, Cromartie High, or School Rumble, where characters tend to do lots of pointless or silly stuff (including stupid stuff) to keep you funny, you'll probably like this one. (I liked all the titles I mentioned above btw)

It was a good episode overall and the real battle between Ichigo's group and the Bounds has begun. I didn't take many screen shots this time because the art was kinda inconsistant for this episode. Anyway~

Manga Impression - MÄR Heaven

Summary:

This is the place he longed to be in, it has everything he dreamed a fairy tale world would have, witches, werewolves. He finds an item called ÄRM. It’s a special device that was created by magic and gives the user a special ability. Ginta's new adventure in Mar Heaven begins as he gets involved in a battle against Chess Komas.

Comments:
While I didn't like most of the mangas I've tried recently(like Reborn, D.Grey-man, Airgear, and Busou Renkin), this one was a good read. The story progression seems a bit straight forward but it's still enjoyable. The style is kinda similar to Beet The Vandel Buster, which I also liked. The art is one of the neatest ones I've seen so far. (I really liked how all the battle scenes were dynamically drawn) I never read Flame of Recca, which is the provious work of the author (Anzai Nobuyuki sensei)but I'm sure that one is pretty good as well. (I've seen my friend reading it) Now I kinda want to check out the anime version. I was going to give a try last year but didn't have enough time.

Manga Impression - Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

Summary:
Tsuna is a normal boy, who is often called No-good Tsuna because he is not good at anything. Oneday, a mysterious kid (or a baby?) Reborn, who is an assassin from Italy, comes to Tsuna and tells him that he has been chosen to become a mafia boss and how he's going to be trained for that goal. Reborn's main instrument of choice in teaching Tsuna is the 'dying will bullet' which will make the person be reborn as a stronger self intent on fulfilling his dying will.

Comments:
Oh my goodness, ALL WRONG!!! From here to there or there to here, everything in this manga seems so wrong. Sure the theme is unique and this series is actually quite popular in Japan. However, this manga is just not for me. T_T On top of that, I think the main character named Tsuna is so dumb. The heroine Kyoko seems to be the only normal character among the major ones. Well, at least Yamamoto-kun was kinda good looking but that fact alone is not convincing enough. Isn't weekly shounen jump supposed to be for all ages?

Wai, this one hour special of Bleach was quite good. I'm just gonna go over some points. (Too lazy to make summaries and I'm sure many of you have watched it)

Lilin = Chicken Little

Kurodo = Pokute (From Hale Nochi Guu)

Noba = Teenage Tuxido Turtle

Gotta love those stuffed animals. ^O^ (They are the three modified soulds introduced in this arc)

Also some new villains called 'bounds' are introduced:

She reminds me of Vice and Mature from KOF game.

He looks like someone that belongs to Trinity Blood.

That is when she gives Yoruichi-san a Valentine chocolate. However, chocolates are bad for cats so it gets rejected. T_T

Also they changed the ending AGAIN??? The song is even better than the previous one! (I loved the prevous one as well ^O^) I really want the full versions of those songs sang by Mi and Kotona (Koyama Kimiko and Itoh Shizuka)!!! >__<

Gintama Animation

Anyway since I kinda wanted to blog something unusual, I wanted to make a thread on my most anticipated anime this spring. Gintama is a popular manga serialized in shonen jump (same as Bleach and Naruto) and so far there are 11 volumes released. (It's still on going btw) I've read first 20 chapters and I liked it very much. (It's darn funny ^O^)
The art of the anime seems promising. Gintoki's sleepy eyes look just like the manga's. Hijikata-san, gakkoissu! >__<
The Animation Studio is Sunrise and the director is Takamatsu Shinji, who also did School Rumble. (So I'm guessing that the funny parts will stand out well)
The main casting is same as Jump Festa which is like this:

Mushishi Ep 12 - We get to know Ginko's sad past on how he became a mushishi. It was a sad episode indeed. The little Ginko (Yoki) was totally kawaii though. >__<

Yugioh GX Ep 71 - Almost everyone in Obelist Blue has gone nuts. -_-;;; Even that Ryuusei guy who lost to Judai in this episode. I hope they turn normal again as soon as possible.

Bleach Ep 67 - It was a funny episode. (Soi Fong was in it too which was even better >_<) ...and we get another 1 hour special this week. (yay~) Oh yes, I loved Shinigami Golden Cup for this episode. Jyuushirou is such a nice person. ^O^

Fate Ep 6 - Rider makes her debut for real! She was cool and beautiful indeed. Damn Shinji for betraying his buddy. -_-; I hope we get to see more Saber in the next ep.

Ginban Kaleidoscope Ep 8 - Those stupid ppl from the media tried to mess up with Tazusa! Anyway we get to learn why Tazusa and Yoko are living with Nishima Coach. (Their past must be hard for them) Anyway it was a good episode. I'm glad those jerks got what they deserve.

I thought the one who received the black letter was Tomoe. Uh well, I had a feeling that something's gonna happen to Erstin but this wasn't what I expected. Damn Nagi, Damn Smith and Nina, YOU FOOL!!! I kinda had this feeling of 'not liking' her a bit by bit but now I really dislike her. Arg, can't wait to watch the next episode. >_<
By the way the battle between Arika and Nina reminded me of Gundam SEED. (the episode Nichol dies) Is it like Arika=Kira and Nina=Athrun now?

Karin Ep 11-12

Ep 11 = Swimming Pool Story
It was an okay episode. Wienner was funny though. ^__^
Oh yeah, Karin realizes that Wienner was the one she bit for the first time in her life.
Ep 12 had some character developments for Karin and Kenta. Will Karin really bite Kenta? Ren is getting pretty serious for her sister, eh?
Again, Wienner was hilarious. ^O^

Black Cat Ep 15

This episode wasn't intense as previous three episodes but Train goes out to defeat Creed alone at the end. I hope to see some new movements of Chronos members soon.
Oh and yes, Creed was hilarious. Is he that dying to see his beloved Train?

Mushishi Ep 11
Wai, this one was a good episode. Now we know why Ginko smokes all the time.
...for some reasons, Ginko's eyes looked sad at the end. I wonder what will happen at the end of the last episode. (I know it's too early to think of that)
